RALEIGH-AREA TITLEHOLDERS COMPETE FOR MISS NORTH CAROLINA & MISS NORTH CAROLINA’S TEEN IN HIGHPOINT

Several area titleholders will compete in the Miss North Carolina and Miss North Carolina’s Teen pageant on Saturday, June 29 at High Point Theatre. These competitions are preliminaries to the Miss America and Miss America’s Teen pageant.

 

“We are excited to welcome titleholders from throughout the state of North Carolina, including our many Raleigh-area queens,” said Executive Director of Miss North Carolina, Susan Williams. “This opportunity helps to develop and showcase the professionalism, community service, talent, poise, and intellect of phenomenal young women that will go on to represent our state well in High Point and beyond.”

 

Raleigh-area titleholders who will compete in the state pageant include:

  • Miss Raleigh, Evan O’Geary
  • Miss Durham, Andersen Raines
  • Miss Garner, Abby Britt
  • Miss Teen Garner, Colleen McDermott
  • Miss Wendell, D’Amrah Rowdy
  • Miss Teen Wendell, Harley Reese Murray
  • Miss Zebulon, Brooke Evans
  • Miss Teen Zebulon, Kaydin Quinne Brown

Candidates will participate in three days of interviews and on-stage question preliminaries, as well as talent, fitness, and evening gown competitions from June 26 – 28 at 7:00 p.m.each night. Ticket prices begin at $45. The final competitions will be held on Saturday, June 29, with the Teen finals kicking off at 2:30 p.m.Tickets start at $70. Miss finals begin at 7:30 p.m. with tickets starting at $80. Tickets may be purchased online.
